Delivering a seminar regarding special considerations while conducting investigations at work place.
As a result of the positive feedback of the Labor Law Presentation, which was delivered in June 2021, Saad Al Doseri was invited to deliver another training session on this subject.
Saad explained the investigation process, considerations and most importantly the employees’ rights and due protection prior, during and following the process.
At the end of the seminar, Saad demonstrated the approach of the courts of Bahrain in relation to the subject matter. He summarised the seminar in the following line:
“Every investigation is a meeting, but not every meeting is an investigation.”
Saad explained that once this concept is understood, the employer could avoid unnecessary complications.

Saad Al Doseri was invited to share his experience on the agency arrangements in Bahrain followed by providing an overview on the enforceability of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.
University of Bahrain Speech
Saad Al Doseri was invited by the University of Bahrain to speak on the topic of arbitration at the university’s international arbitration seminar.
Saad’s keynote provided an overview of practical aspects of arbitration in the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting the defective arbitration clauses in light of the court of cassation judgments and the constitutional court’s judgment on the constitutionality of Article 36 of the arbitration rules under the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre (GCCCAC).
Saad also discussed the enforcement procedures of an arbitral award issued by the GCCCAC. Saad concluded his keynote with advice for up-and-coming arbitrators within the audience, advising them to read as much as they can and always remain in contact with industry experts and institutions to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
