On 23 and 24 October, Senior Associate Shooq Mohamed presented two lectures at the Basic Training programme for new lawyers at the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute, Bahrain. In her discussions, Shooq focussed on Contract Law, exploring a number of topics, including the concept of the contract, the key elements of a contract, the different forms of contract, and the essential clauses to be included.
Drawing upon her own experience in the field, Shooq explored the key aspects lawyers must consider when drafting a contract, noting the common pitfalls faced by legal professionals during the review process. The programme welcomed a host of new lawyers from across the Kingdom to further develop their understanding of the industry and refine their foundational legal knowledge.
